Can-Am Celebrates Official Sponsorship of NASCAR in 2016
Can-AmUSA – -(Ammoland.com)- BRP's Can-Am brand will be an official sponsor of NASCAR in during the 2016 season.
The sponsorship includes Can-Am Side-by-Side, ATV and Spyder product lines. Core elements include being the title sponsor of two Sprint Cup races in 2016, primary sponsorship of the #32 GoFAS Ford Fusion car, and being an official sponsor of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.
Can-Am Duels at Daytona
To kick off the NASCAR season, prior to the 58th Annual Daytona 500, Can-Am will be the title sponsor of the Can-Am Duels at Daytona February 18-19, 2016. The Can-Am Duels feature a pair of 150-mile qualifying races that finalize the starting lineup for the 2016 race at Daytona.
Can-Am 500
Can-Am is also part of the Chase for the Cup at the end of the season as the recently-named title sponsor of the Can-Am 500, which takes place November 13, 2016, at Phoenix International Raceway. "There is a tremendous affinity for outdoor powersports among NASCAR fans, particularly in the desert southwest, which makes this a fantastic fit. GoFAS Race Team
Along with Kappa clothing can Cyclops Gear Cameras, Can-Am will co-sponsor the #32 GoFAS race team in 2016. For 13 races, Can-Am has the primary sponsorship (hood) of the #32 car. For the other 23 races of the Sprint Cup season Can-Am will have a secondary sponsorship (rear quarter panel). GoFAS drivers include Bobby Labonte and Jeffery Earnhardt, the grandson of the late Dale Earnhardt. Both drivers will be the faces of the sponsorship/Can-Am ambassadors throughout the year.
NASCAR Canadian Tire Series
Along with the NASCAR Sprint Cup sponsorships, Can-Am will be a prime sponsor of all 11 races in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series in 2016. In collaboration with Kappa clothing and Cyclops Gear Cameras, Can-Am will sponsor the #2 GoFAS car driven by rookie drive Alex Labbé.
