It's the time of year when all you want to do is rug up and feel cosy.
While staying in bed and hiding under your doona is probably the most desirable way of doing this, sometimes you literally can't avoid leaving the house.
Enter the "teddy" jacket — a snugly coat that as the name suggests is fluffy and soft, just like your favourite childhood toy. They even make you look a bit like a cuddly bear.

Now as winter draws in they've reached Aussie shores, and the best part is you don't have to pay the same exxy prices the stars have forked out for their designer jacket, as Kmart has released a $35 version that people are going crazy for.

"The quality of this jacket is so nice," one fashion fan wrote. "So soft and warm and yes definitely size up for that more oversized snugly look."
Affordable fashion fan Kmartgirl snapped herself in the cute coat, saying she was in "love" with it.
"I am in love with the new ladies teddy jacket. Online I wasn't sure about the colour but it is just gorgeous," she wrote, describing the fleecy fabric as "soft and warm".
Another blogger said you could get a lot of "mileage" from the item, making the $35 price tag an absolute steal.
Other fanpages shared photos of how they'd style the trendy jacket, warning you'll need to get in quick to snag one.
There's usually always a frenzy when a Kmart item become popular. Most recently a $20 leopard-print dress went nuts after it was shared by a few Aussie fashion influencers.
The cheap and cheerful outfit became hard to track down thanks to the buzz on Instagram, with some reporting they couldn't get hold of it.
Earlier this year a $25 orange polka-dot dress went equally mental after being featured on an affordable fashion blog, Trash To Treasured.
Kmart told news.com.au previously it always did its best to ensure product availability.
"We generally plan these types of fashion styles to be in store for three months before updating with more newness," their spokesperson said.
