Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is remembering Flying Sikh, legendary athlete Milkha Singh, who succumbed to the COVID-19. The actor mourned the demise of the athlete and paid his tribute to him.
The actor posted the last page from Milkha Singh's autobiography, titled, “The Race of My Life: An Autobiography” on Twitter. The page read, "My final words would be: life as a sportsperson is hard, and there will certainly be times when you might be tempted to quit, or take shortcuts-- but remember there are no shortcuts to success. At such times you should try and derive inspiration from this Urdu couplet: "Mita de apni hasti ko agar koi martaba chahe, ki dana khak mein mil kar gul-gulzar hota hai.”

Legendary Indian athlete Milkha Singh and his wife Nirmal Saini scummed due to COVID-19. Nirmal Saini passed away on 13 June, following "Flying Sikh," breathed his last in a Chandigarh hospital late on Friday.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for Chehre, co-starring Emraan Hashmi. He will feature in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He also has MayDay, Jhund, Nag Ashwin’s next and The Intern remake.
