It is no big secret that happily married Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were once dating and after they went their separate ways, the two have not crossed paths until very recently with their film Udta Punjab that will release shortly. In fact, it took the media quite by surprise that at the recent trailer launch on the film Kareena and Shahid shared the same stage along with their co-stars Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh. Much was said and written about their awkwardness and how Shahid consciously stayed away from Bebo with Alia planted safely in between!
So at another recent promotional event when Shahid was asked about his alleged awkwardness with Bebo, the actor said in an article published in Pinkvilla, “Firstly, how do you decide that we were awkward? Were we staring at each other? If Kareena and I had pictures together, then people would write only about that and talk only about that. We were there as a team of four to promote Udta Punjab. I wanted the movie to be represented well. That is why we made sure we are standing in a way that the press will not click pics that they want to click, which are controversial and put out something wrong out there. We wanted to be correct about the representation of the film.”
