Anyway here's 4 US airborne I painted today, I realy like them if I look past the silly proportions.
I think I'v realy hit the nail on the head with these colors for the M42 uniform.
The main color is faded kaki, with kaki for highlights and british kaki for shade, quite subtile, but I think it looks great. The web gear is kaki with faded kaki for outline and shade.
The figs are easy to paint and you realy can't over shade them, at worst you make the uniforms seem dirty and thats only good. I think these figs came alive and look good, probebly my best 28mm, I even tried painting eyes, the turned out way to big and way to blue, but atleast they can see.
