Seven Corners at Crowne Plaza Galleria

Oinks:

Most people love Spirals or Circles or Heat, but I love Seven Corners. It's small, intimate and not too crowded. It's not overly confusing and overwhelming. It has all the food that I want.

Each month they have themes. The last time we ate here their theme was French. This month, September, was Thai. And although, I am not a big fan of Asian food, except Chinese and Japanese, they still offer the same old stations.

I'm using a new lens (canon 50mm/f1.8) and I am still getting used to it so please forgive some of my blurry shots.

At the entrance was a Thai chef carving fruits. I was going to take a video of him but it was dark and he was almost done with all the fruits.

Loving this parasols. So girly and pretty.

French Baguette at the bread station.

Cheese board. One of the little things I don't like about Seven Corners is their very, very meager cheese selection. And after the initial surge of hungry diners, the cheese board becomes a cheesy mess!

Salad and Appetizers

Fresh Seafoods

Carving Station. Beef and Lechon de leche

Chocolate Fountain

We were among the last guests (Friday Traffic!) the dessert plates were almost wiped out. My favorite creme brulee was no longer available.

Last piece.

Remember this little piggy is on a diet for weeks and months now... Here are my plates.

Not all!!! I only had 3! I swear. Please believe me.

Shrimp Noodle Soup with century egg. Broth was so good. I wanted to have bowls and bowls of this. The century egg was a great idea.

There was no smoked salmon out on the buffet but when we asked they gave us half a plate.

I don't like thin cut meat, so I asked the chef on the carving station to cut it a little thicker than usual. And he gave me this. Perfect!

Steak and Lamb Chops with mint and mustard.

More lamb chops with biryani

My discovery of the night.... I usually don't stop by the pasta station. I always reserve most of my stomach space and calories for the meat. But I have been craving for pasta for weeks now, so I gave in. Tikim lang. Ok, I hate lying. I'll admit, I had two plates of carbonara. I am so going to regret it, I know. But C'est La Vie. It was really, really good. I've been missing out pala!

Ice cream teppanyaki. Vanilla and Rocky Road with walnuts, almond slivers, dark chocolate chips.

The happy birthday girl, Happy Birthday Achi D!
